En effet, un exposition consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00eele de Saint-Domingue &#8211; Ha\u00efti de nos jours &#8211; leur a offert les informations sur les r\u00e9bellions de ses habitants en 1791 et en 1802 et qui ont abouti \u00e0 l&#8217;ind\u00e9pendance de l&#8217;\u00eele.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<div id='gallery-2' class='gallery galleryid-7695 gallery-columns-4 gallery-size-thumbnail France :<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>1792 : 1<sup>\u00e8re<\/sup> abolition de l&#8217;esclavage par la I\u00e8re R\u00e9publique en France.<\/li>\n<li>1794 : abolition de l&#8217;esclavage \u00e9tendue aux colonies fran\u00e7aises.<\/li>\n<li>1802 : r\u00e9tablissement de l&#8217;esclavage par Napol\u00e9on dans les Antilles.<\/li>\n<li>1804 : Ha\u00efti devient la premi\u00e8re R\u00e9publique noire du monde.<\/li>\n<li>1848 : 2<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> abolition par la II<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> R\u00e9publique, sous l&#8217;impulsion du d\u00e9put\u00e9 Victor Schoelcher qui avait pris conscience du probl\u00e8me de l\u2019esclavage lors d\u2019un voyage aux Am\u00e9riques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Enfin, cette sortie historique a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&#8217;occasion pour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves d&#8217;en apprendre un peu plus sur certains personnages cl\u00e9s de la lutte contre l&#8217;esclavage ou la s\u00e9gr\u00e9gation tels que<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Voltaire (et les id\u00e9es des Lumi\u00e8res),<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Toussaint Louverture (meneur de la r\u00e9bellion de Saint-Domingue en 1791),<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Jean-Jacques Dessalines (gouverneur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et empereur d&#8217;Ha\u00efti en 1804),<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Abb\u00e9 Gr\u00e9goire (membre de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Amis des Noirs),<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Jos\u00e9phine Baker (et son combat pour toutes les
